A fundamental movement for building overall leg strength. Focus on controlled movement and a full range of motion to build a strong foundation.
Sit in the machine with your back firmly against the pad. Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the platform.
Release the safety locks. Lower the weight slowly and under control until your knees are at approximately a 90-degree angle.
Push the weight forcefully back up through your heels until your legs are nearly straight. Do not lock your knees at the top.
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions and engage the safety locks when finished.
