Focus on controlled movement and activating the rear deltoids. This is a fundamental exercise to learn the correct form.
Adjust the seat height so the handles are at chest level. Select a light weight.
Sit facing the machine, grasp the handles with a neutral or overhand grip, and keep your chest supported against the pad.
Pull the handles back in an arc-like motion, keeping your arms nearly straight. Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together at the end of the movement.
Return the handles slowly and with control to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
