An advanced variation that challenges stability, activates core muscles, and helps correct strength imbalances between sides.
Adjust the seat and select a weight that is about half of your normal two-handed press.
Sit firmly and grip one handle. Place your free hand on your thigh or use it to brace yourself on the seat.
Engage your core to prevent your torso from twisting and press the handle upward in a controlled motion.
Pause for a moment at the top, then slowly lower the weight back down.
Complete all repetitions on one arm before switching to the other.
