This exercise targets different muscle groups, specifically your hip abductors and inner thighs, by climbing sideways. Start at a slow speed to focus on controlled movement.
Set the machine to a slow speed.
Turn your body 90 degrees to the right, holding the handrails.
Lead with your right foot, crossing over with your left foot to take the next step.
Continue for 1-2 minutes, then switch sides by turning to face the left.
Keep your core engaged and your movements deliberate throughout.
