An advanced variation that maximizes glute and hamstring activation by placing the feet high and wide on the platform. This requires good mobility and strength.
Place your feet high on the platform, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Ensure your heels are firmly on the platform.
Release the safety locks. Lower the weight as deep as you can with control, feeling a stretch in your glutes and hamstrings.
Drive the weight explosively back up through your heels, focusing on squeezing your glutes and hamstrings at the top.
Avoid rounding your lower back and maintain control throughout the entire set.
