A foundational exercise to strengthen the shoulders and learn the correct movement pattern. Focus on a controlled motion and stable posture throughout the exercise.
Adjust the seat height so the handles are at shoulder level. Sit with your back firmly against the backrest.
Grasp the handles and press upwards until your arms are nearly straight, but do not lock your elbows.
Lower the weight slowly and with control back to the starting position.
Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
