This advanced workout builds power and explosiveness. You will perform a series of strokes, increasing and then decreasing the count, focusing on maximum power output with each pull.
Warm up thoroughly for 5-10 minutes.
Start the pyramid: perform 10 very powerful strokes. Rest for 30 seconds.
Continue up the pyramid: perform 15 powerful strokes and rest for 45 seconds. Then 20 powerful strokes and rest for 60 seconds.
Descend the pyramid: perform 15 powerful strokes (45s rest) and finally 10 powerful strokes.
Cool down for 5-10 minutes with light rowing and stretching. Focus on perfect technique and explosive power in every single stroke.
