Stand on the machine's footplates with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent.
Grasp the handles and keep your back straight, chest up.
Pull the weight towards your lower chest, squeezing your back muscles together forcefully.
Slowly and controlledly lower the weight back to the starting position.
