A foundational exercise for overall leg strength. Focus on controlled movement and keep your back flat against the pad throughout.
Sit down and place your feet shoulder-width apart in the center of the platform.
Release the safety catches and push the platform up slightly until your legs are nearly straight, but do not lock your knees.
Slowly and controlled, lower the weight until your knees are at a roughly 90-degree angle.
Push the platform back to the starting position by driving through your heels until your legs are nearly straight again.
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
