A fundamental movement to build strength and mass in the thighs and glutes. Focus on a controlled motion and full range of movement.
Sit in the machine with your back firmly against the backrest. Place your feet shoulder-width apart in the center of the platform.
Release the safety locks. Inhale and slowly lower the sled in a controlled manner by bending your knees until they are at approximately a 90-degree angle.
Exhale and forcefully push the sled back to the starting position with your heels, without fully locking out your knees.
Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
