Focus on squeezing your chest muscles as you bring the handles together. Keep the movement controlled and avoid swinging your torso.
Sit with your back against the machine's pad. Adjust the seat height so the handles are at chest level.
Grasp the handles, maintaining a slight bend in your elbows. Keep your back straight and feet firmly on the floor.
Exhale and squeeze your chest muscles to bring the handles together in front of you in an arc motion.
Pause for a moment when the handles are almost together and you feel the tension in your chest.
Inhale and slowly return the handles to the starting position in a controlled manner.
