Challenge your muscular endurance and maximize muscle activation by holding the contraction at the peak of the movement. This technique creates a powerful burn and improves control.
Position yourself in the machine and select a challenging but manageable weight.
Perform the movement by pushing your leg out to the side forcefully until you reach full abduction.
At the point of peak contraction, hold the position for 3-5 seconds. Focus on keeping your core tight and your body stable.
After the hold, return the leg to the starting point slowly and with maximum control. Repeat for the target reps, then switch sides.
